Sulfuric acid
Now that the hard part is over, I can start doing ratios. So, what's the sulfur/sulfuric acid chem. plant ratio?

That produces enough acid to fuel about 12 battery plants, IIRC (or it may be 12 per acid plant, I can't remember). Processing Unit production also uses acid, but very little (0.5 per assembler per unit), and can almost be discounted unless you are either determined to make a count-perfect system or you have hugs numbers of blue circuit assemblers :-)

That's right -- it's 5 sulfur : 2 sulfuric acid : 12 batteries. Indeed, you only need a second setup if you produce massive amounts of batteries & blue circuits.

The only thing that bugs me about the sulfuric acid production is petroleum shortage on my base, but I'm not into blue science yet, so there's no solution yet. Well, maybe except building more refineries. Anyways, thanks for the help!

For the petroleum shortage, you need to research advanced oil processing ASAP -- make it the very first thing you research after you plonk your refineries. It will allow better processing and cracking as well.
