no curved rails?

I can't find them in the crafting window. have they been removed? or are they locked behind another tech?

With 0.13 the curved rail has been removed. Instead of laying rail tracks by hand using straight and curved rail pieces you can use the rail planner to place the rail for you by clicking the green arrow on an existing piece of rail and then clicking again where the rail should end.

Guys, how do I put down curved tracks onto the ghost curved train tracks? Can't figure it out.

I can lay down the curved ghost track but don't know how to then put a track on it...

same way you put it down without a ghost, I presume. place a strait track next to it then build off it. or you could just let robots do it.

P.S: if the newest thread about a subject is this old (about 5 months in this case) then you're probably better off making a new thread than necroing an old one.

not sure what you mean, I must be missing something simple. Not at the robot stage yet, do you have to get robots before you can lay down a curved track? that doesn't make sense.

so I can only lay down straight ones and curved ghost ones :(

while holding a rail, click on the arrow at the ending of a strait track and then move your cursor until a curved rail appears and then click again.
press Q to leave rail placing mode.

Yeah, I do that and a ghost rail appears...can't drive on that.

the ghost track should only appear if you're holding shift, which is your infinite length rail planner. for placing it down, do just as Godfish says and you should be able to lay some track down. to make sure you're actually laying down and not in ghost mode, the max length should be 9 rails, iirc
