Report a translation problem
The reason is that factorio uses 2D sprites so each animated entity has a lot of images.
Given the amount of work required, most artists instead collaborate with modders that make new machines or enemies because there is more demand for those mods.
It is enough to make the game's world feel more alive and interesting though. I highly recommend that mod to everybody.
plus you can build roads, rather than paving over the whole thing
but still, point taken :-)
also - for people that do use Alien Biomes - do remember to get the Hi Res patch - since it isn't a dependency (or even a recommended mod) for Space Exploration (it is only an optional mod on the Alien Biomes page) - i had to go looking for it when i was curious why the terrain wasn't looking as good as i expected/remembered
