whats the largest ore patch you found?

I just found a 640m patch.. with end game mining efficiency thats gonna last a long time!

Most on the map max out around 300m so it might be a double spawn? or do i have to get out more chunks?

im already on the size where it takes like a minute by a maxed out train to reach the border.

The largest one I have ever found was a 821m copper but I don't play with standard map settings. I set up a rails world and remember where the sliders are for resources and then go back to default but put the resource sliders where they were for a rails world so I get nasty bugs that expand instead of no expansion like you get in a rails world.

That particular copper patch is over a minute by a nuclear fueled 1-4 train from my spawn point but I never really got to use it much. My base had expanded so much on that save that my UPS had dropped below 45 and I stopped playing that factory. Most of the resource patches I found were between 300 m and 500 m but that one was huge and far so I remember it.

I have seen some in the RSO mod that were 1T which i am assuming means 1 billion but that was me playing with stuff.... i like em big eh. Didn't even start building as my UPS was already fluctuating between 50 and 60.

thats why i dont expand anymore. im on a 16 super beacon 2 grid and from placing them down and the time they need to load each chunk im on like the second to last expansion my rig could handle. (6k by 6k map if the pings work correctly)
