So ... yes, you surely could call it a known incompability, considering the mod even says that.
Note that Arthur (the author for PycoalTBAA) was busy rewriting the code for that mod because it became a bit of a mess throughout all of the updates that preceeded the 1.0 release and in addition to that; keeping up with the updates on both Py and Angel's isn't an easy task. Or at least that was the case last time I checked....
If you know a bit about coding in .lua you CAN still use TBAA but you'll have to tweak stuff during your playthrough whilst waiting for the official update... Or that's how I've been doing it for a couple of months.
