is there a string of commands to say spwan a active provider chest and then have said chest once spawned come with a full inventory of an item of my choosing.. and secondary question can you make it more than once chest at a time?

With all due respect, that's a special kind of lazy. You can't just spawn the chest, spawn the items, put the chest down and put the items in the chest?

You can always download the creative mode mod. Whether console commands disable your achievs or mods do hardly makes a difference at that point

Yes: use a loop.

if you prefer console commands you can use an infinity chest, and have it insert into a provider.

/c game.player.insert("infinity-chest")

it can supply up to 48 different items.

for mods as overeagerdragon suggested, there is a mod called 'Creative Mod (Fix for 0.16)' which has a 'Creative Provider chest'. plop a couple down and they provide every item in the game.

of course it's not for normal game play. creative mode mod is great for testing/creating layouts and blueprints.
