I like to listen to most of the songs from Starbound OST when I play games like these. Beautiful orchestral ambient music. I pretty much only exclude the combat music. It's a different tone than Factorio's soundtrack, it makes the game feel more serene and otherworldly.

For example, here's a good compilation of all the tracks that are on the ambient, relaxing side https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsgaZTf9MtA. Factorio really hits different when you listen to this kind of music, makes it feel similar to Dyson Sphere Program in terms of atmosphere.

Touhou's music (and its arrangements) is always a good pick if you want something full of energy and rythm, that's also something I put as background music often.
