Cant use blueprints?

I cant import blueprints

maybe BluePrint is from old Factorio version
or specific mods are required for the BP

If you don't have the buttons on the right of the hotbar at the bottom then you need to unlock them first by researching construction robots.
It's a one time unlock meaning that you will have them even from the start after that.

It was designed to make new players play the game on their own at first and learning how everything works rather than importing complete blueprints right away and have no clue on how things work.
Plus blueprints are meant to be used with construction robots as a way to give them orders.
