Open the "Blueprints" section (press B by default) and put the book in a slot inside the "My Blueprints" pane.
Those are the BPs that are shared between all the saves you ever open. After that, always be careful if you ever remove BPs from that area, though... if you lose that character state/save, you'll lose that BP too.
EDIT: As a rule, never put BPs directly in your inventory for use once you consider them done (i.e. once you already have them on your global BPs,) or always make a copy before doing that, or use them from the shortcut menu.
Many thanks, I could only click on the blueprint maker or new blueprint book. A new shortcut key to remember lol.
No problem, you're welcome... and yeah, until you finish researching construction robots ( I think...) some sections of the UI are more hidden (even if you can still access them.)
Though, IIRC and I hope I'm not mistaken, the blueprint section is always accessible from the start via one of the buttons in the upper/right pane (above the minimap...) so you don't necessarily need to remember the shortcut!
Ah, I have the two blue coloured blueprint icons but they are to highlight the stuff, and to also make a blueprint book for that save only it seems. Yes, the top right does have the blueprint (personalised) for all games.
