So is it supposed to be on 1.1.19?
Yesterday I updated my game, but it didn't do anything. Just now I updated it again but it opened with a big menu saying my version of the game was 1.1.19 in the top left of the popup. I see other people are talking about it turning into 1.1 and then going back to 1.0, but it seems fine for me. Is this a planned release but there was no news about it or did they accidentally release the update publicly outside of the experimental branch?

I just bought the game yesterday and played yesterday on 1.0 and today my game just went to 1.1.19. Was 1.0 the last non-beta/experimental release before today? I was pretty surprised it went from 1.0 all the way to 1.1.19. Lots of things in the GUI changed, etc, lol. Too bad I didn't wait one more day, now I have to unlearn certain things because of the interface changes. Oh well.

Its a regular update. If you scrolled down on the updated notes you would of seen the changes made to version .19.

People are going back to 1.0 for mod compatibility I believe.

Actually stable is still 1.0. They accidentally pushed an experimental update to stable and reverted it back to 1.0 and that is causing confusion among people.

Edit; NVM 1.1.19 was declared stable it seems. There just hasn't been an official announcement on steam yet.

Just logged into Steam, update was waiting and I let it update. When I start game it splashed huge window with all the changes. It is indeed 1.1.19 for me as well.

I've been waiting for 1.1 to be officially released to start a new map. So, is it really safe to start now?

It shouldn't be, there's no update on steam saying it is. 1.1.19 is mucking up everything

I looked in the Discord, there's a bot in there that said that the game was updated and left these links:

For people who have trouble with mods. You should first try going into the ingame mods menu and check if the updates tab lets you update all the mods you care about to work with the new version. If there is a mod that you really want to have that can't update with that then you can right click factorio on steam and select properties and in the betas tab you should find 1.0 stable. Then use the ingame mod menu to update the mods to the latest 1.0 compatible version.
