Also, from what I heard K2 + Space Exploration work together very well, as in, the authors made sure their mods were compatible... but not sure what would happen when you add IR to the mix.
And unfortunately IR2 is not compatible.
If there is no way to complicate IR2 + K2 I may be tempted Space Extension + K2
thanks for your help!
It's not really true for Space Exploration because K2 comes with numerous technologies that remove any challenge that Space Exploration might have added - e.g. the antimatter generator doesn't require water, so powering your space ship become trivial; the matter converter allows you to turn water into wood, wood into matter, and then matter into whatever resource you actually want so you no longer need to go to different planets because the water from your home planet is the only resource you will never need; etc.
It might be the case that I'm confusing the two of them, then! I searched a bit and at least in the case of Space Exploration, in the mod's wiki[spaceexploration.miraheze.org] says, under compatibility:
So they might've worked some of the issues you mention as a built in compat detection, or something?
EDIT: Just to be clear, I have no idea on how the mod plays at all... I've been looking into it, before jumping into Krastorio 2 but it seemed too much stuff to add at once so I decided to leave it off for now... I wanted to test drive a modded playthrough for a bit, before restarting on a vanilla world again.
