Report a translation problem
The easiest solution is to not use Steam - you have a factorio.com account where you can download the binaries without any automatic updating of any kind.
If you want to keep using Steam then you can choose from a couple of old builds in the "betas" tab (going back as far as 0.12.35) but those cannot entirely be relied upon because Steam limits the number of beta versions developers can make available to players. Only Valve can fix this.
Be wary of taking a manual backup of your blueprints file if you want to downgrade, otherwise join others in posts like this...

That's just wrong, steam does actually allow an "unlimited amount" of beta branches.
Or did they change this recently?
Maybe bigger games do get a penalty, but depending on the amount of sales, the devs don't get a warning unless they go overboard.
(on another day, i play vanilla, or other mod setups) but each one can be its own version! im ok with that. Goes to dl NON steam.
Pick a version here on Steam (I'm still on .34) or DL from https://factorio.com/ and forget about Steam.
