Dizzy while playing the game, any graphical advice/help?
Hello, i have a weird problem, while walking around my factory i get a bit dizzy,
i turned off V-Sync and that helped a bit but i am not sure whats going on.
I have good fps its not lagging or something, its just causes me for some reason
to get dizzy, any graphic options or something i could do would be great.
Its not that i can't play it but, anyways thanks for any potential help.

check if you have any screen tearing, sometimes its not that obvious. I had a similar issue when i was playing witcher 3 and i turned on vsync

Check how many legs you have in your power armour, beyond 3-4 it can cause things to look a bit weird when moving.
Thanks for the tips, i will try, i don't have screen tearing, i do have 4 exoskeletons but this is been a problem from the start, yeah its worse now but its like that for ever, its like i can't keep focused, hmm weird.

Do you perhaps have a monitor that goes beyond 60Hz?
Since the game is locked to 60 FPS (until your UPS goes under that at least) higher refresh rate monitors can make it feel a bit uncomfortable, especially if it is among the cheaper ones instead of the high-end products.

I have a good Samsung that goes 144hz, you might be on something because in my tv when i played i didn't have this issue, is there not a way to unlock or lock fps or something, its okay i can deal with it, its just a bit less enjoyable.

Sadly no, 60 is the highest it can go to (it's not animated but sprite-based so higher FPS would just display the same frames several times instead).

Maybe tweak with your monitor's settings or with your graphics card's drivers, there might be something to fit 60 FPS better.
you can limit your monitors Hz to 60 while playing. Check under nvidia control panel settings
Try enable VRR (aka Freesync aka G-Sync Compatible) in your driver settings. It will help your monitor to compensate for a game falling to a lower framerate than your monitor.

Obviously that will only work if your monitor actually supports it.
Sadly my monitor doesn't support those, i might try what Cyrex said and see if its better, for now i turned down brighthness wayyyy down, it feels a bit better i guess, i don't like the colours much though...
Makes me think: Are you sitting too close to a large monitor in a poorly lit environment?
If so: Get a little more distance to the monitor and get a light source behind the screen.

Behind the screen? hmm i might try that.
In that same vein. Is your computer area lit by CFLs or other fluorescent lights? These can have flickering effects that are not quite discernible to the naked eye but aren't compatible with some computer monitors especially for people that have light sensitivities or night blindness.

If you are using fluorescent lights in your computer area you should switch to full spectrum lighting such as LED or incandescent bulbs that eliminate the 60Hz (50 Hz in countries not in the Americas) flicker of fluorescent lights.
Hmm interesting, i don't have any of those but i mighnt try putting some led behind the monitor because that area is way darketr than the rest of the room.

I'm not the OP, but I'm interested in this solution. Are there certain monitor types I need to have for it to work? Do some support it better than others?

When I get a better monitor, I'd like to make sure it's a kind that won't make me hate Factorio...
