Looking into Making a Krastorio 2 and AAI vehicles Into my playthrough with a friend

I'm curious in that aspect.

I have completed the game solo vanilla, and was looking to spice up by downloading Krastorio 2 and it's recommended mods as well as AAI and all it's custom vehicles (As well as Alien biomes mod)

I'm asking this cuz I want to be sure if there isn't going to be any sort of issue such as multiplayer, incompatibility, crashes and such, As well as if There is any additional mod I can add to make it interesting (Not space exploration since that mod looks too intimidating for me)

Depending on your (and your friend's) internet connection, you may want to tweak some of the settings in Krastorio. Specifically, you may want to turn auto-targeting (of weapons) back on to mitigate lag issues with projectiles. Other than that, I don't think you should have any major problems.

I saw that Krastorio has a Setting for AI Industry, Should I set it the 2 research thing to both AI industry instead of krastorio's? Since I have the mod of it installed.

AAI Industry adds burner machines and change most recipes for stuff you'd want to hand craft initially to be more complicated (i.e. most things will require some form of motors, and thus take way longer to hand craft.)

It also makes more difficult the research you need to do in order to exit out of the burner phase, so you'll have to stay at that for a bit more time (it changes the tech tree so you need to first research the electric stuff that the game normally gives you from the start.)

As for the settings, not sure what they are about... if they are in favor of using AAI balance changes, then I'd say yes, set them for AAI as it only affects the start of the game and that's the thing it's supposed to do if you have it installed.

But if they are about maybe the option between graphics between K2 and AAI, I'd say that's up to you.
