Is there a way to pump out more/faster oil?
It seemed to be working fine but now it pumps it out really, really slow. It's slowing my production down. lol

Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks.

edit: chemical plant says "fluid ingredient shortage".

Finding more oil deposits is the answer.

Oil is not like the other resources, its output goes down as you exploit it until it reaches a minimum value that is a mere shadow of the original output (at that point it remains constant but too low to sustain your factory).

So when your current oil deposits are no longer able to sustain your factory, you need to find more just like how you need to find more iron and copper deposits when running out or when increasing production.
When the oil wells hit their minimum you can place beacons with speed modules adjacent to the depleted wells to pump that residual oil faster.
Yes you can use beacons with the fastest speed modules.
You can use more beacons in the area that cover the pump to get way faster pump :)
You can only use that solution if you have a very robust power generation though so I doubt it's the best route for a new player (less than 50 hours on the game according to the profile page).
Production modules let you squeeze a little more product out of your oil.
These work best on your chem plants and refineries.
They slow down production but give an extra product when the second bar fills up.
Speed modules on beacons can make up for the slower production speed.

Speed modules on your pumps and production modules on your refineries should help.
Find more oil deposits and train it in.
