Only requester chest can "request" stuff. Passive providers guess wha...provide. You're still far away.

EDIT: To your inv, just research Logistic slots for the player

When did requester chests cost alot to research? I swear it wasn't that much when i played years ago.

Basically you got it. Click a logistic slot, select the item you want and set the quantity as well. Make sure the item you requst isn't in a trash slot and you have enough of the items available to the logistic network, which you said you do, and the bots should deliver the item(s).

You need to be inside of the "delivery area" (aka "logistic area") of the robo-network. It's the orange-colored part, green-colored is the construction area.

Could you provide screenshots? One with your inventory open, one with the logistic window (L) open.

Do you already have the amount you are requesting? It isn't a one-off request that fulfills and vanishes. Robots will fill your inventory up until you have that count, then no more. If you then use it up or drop off the item, bots will see the deficit and send more.

What are you requesting, and how much of it do you have on you (and in toolbelt) RIGHT NOW?

Ok thanks you fixed my problem. 1 thing I was requesting was belts but I already have above the amount I requested so It will only work when I have under that amount left. cheers
Next time experiment a little bit more, that will surly solve your problem
