How to Deconstruct Large parts of a Factory? (Solved)

i want to rebuild certain parts of my Factory without starting a new game or taking it down piece by piece, so is there a way to quickly deconstruct a large area without bots? i could blow it up with grenades but then i would lose all the stuff i've built and i don't really want to waste all those resources

You could get the Nanobots mod. Otherwise, unmodded, right click is your friend.

maybe just rebuild elsewhere on the map and deconstuct old stuff later on, you could redirect iron/coppers belts away from that spot if you havn't bus'ed, or just cut the output lines if you have a bus and make new stuff down the line

If your base is so huge you need the help of bots, you might already be close enough to getting bots in the first place. You can make do with a few solar cells and one personal roboport to tear it down bit by bit

If you have a small factory: Walk about 2 screens over and build a new one.
If you have a large factory: Get bots.

You could blow it up with gren.... oh, you don't wanna do that....

Yeah, either we either suck it up and use a pick (such a pain, especially with a lot of belts), or build another base nearby until you get bots. *shrug*

Holding right click down and using the movement keys is probably the nicest way to mass deconstruct before bots are available.
