water trains?
debating moving my petro processing again and need a new site for nuclear plants as well and wondering if maybe transporting in water by train is better than worrying about shoreline placement.

i think moving water in by train is great because it only takes seconds to load/unload a tankwagon
for petroprocessing its good because you dont need that much water in comparison to a reactor

but i also tested a 2x2 reactor with water delivery by train
a 2-6 train over a medium distance was enough for this reactor

but because the train seemed slower than a 2-6 train with normal wagons i changed the tankwagon train to 2-3
but in one update they decreased the air resistance of the tankwagon and i dont know if that made the tankwagon the same speed as the normal wagon?

well, in either use i'd haul more water than I'd need really.

Thought about this recently, so I actually have some data for you:

Assuming a 2n design, you will need 1.32 full water wagons per minute per core to run them at full power. [1648 x60 / 75000]
There are still some piping / storage buffer / water flow challenges to overcome, but it should be entirely possible.
