Game running during pc sleep
Im in the middle of a eco crisis rn in my save, I just need to wait for a projected 14 hours for it to get resolved. Does anyone know if the game will continue to run (Miners keep mining and furnaces keep burning) if I leave my game running while I go to work and my PC goes to sleep. I currently have a macro that clicks my mouse every few seconds to keep it from going to sleep, but I hear that blocking a PC from sleep can damage the screen.

TL:DR
If I leave the game running when I go to work and my PC goes to sleep mode, will the game keep running normally?

2 PC work 24x7 last 5 years at home... (just screen off after 30min idle)

But stay game running for harvesting, wrong way... Just build better factory, if you have time to wait, you make something wrong. (otherwise early game with doing lazzy bastard)

No game that runs on your local PC will keep running when your PC sleeps. This game is no exception.

You want it to keep running? Disable sleep on your PC.

PC isn't going to hop into Sleep mode if you leave the game running fullscreen with the monitor and sound shut off.

Screen damage - Did I wake up in the 90s? LCD panels don't get screen damage. So unless you happen to be sitting with an oldschool CRT or a Plasma monitor, you're not going to see this happen - ever.

You know that you can increase the game speed, right?

1 obvious drawback to leaving the game running while you are not there..... coming home to find that a gang of wandering Biters have set up camp in the middle of your lovely factory!!!!!

It is technically possible on some, older panels. And in 99% of cases it's a temporary thing, you can clear by simply running a black screen for a while.

If modern TN panels had burnin, you'd never be able to read anything on public terminals after a week.

Well I have seen it on newer screens.
And yes it will go away just leave the screen of for some time.
