What you can also do is run the windows version of steam and run the windows version of the game using Wine. With Games, there are a few programs that are meant specifically to run windows games on Linux.. (they shouldn't be too hard to find) OR windows 10 is technically free for a month, then you get a watermark on the bottom right, but it still runs everything.

unnecessary, steam play (similar to wine) is built into steam and works well enough in almost all cases that wine or playonlinux or other frontends aren't as necessary as they once were. for those unfamiliar, its an checkbox in each game's option to enable, and steam installs and runs the game as if you were running windows. naturally not all games work, and those that do may have performance penalties.

yeah im thinking of buying the game but if it deosnt run on my OS im not gonna get it

The game has a demo so it might be a good way to know if it launches and runs properly on your computer (especially since the demo covers the tutorial that has a few optimization issues around a few scripts so if it runs well the rest of the game should run well as well).

It shouldn't be an issue, it's worked fine on Linux for the last 4 years or so I've had the game, probably one of the better games with a Linux build. There is the demo and the 2 hour return window if you buy from steam, although the devs get a bigger cut if you buy directly
