I'm a devout Sister of the Order of The Gaming.
Why am I not surprised.
From what I've seen Factorio devs have morals and value honesty, so I doubt they'd do that.
On the other hand, no one should really take quotes on any advertising page as anything more than propaganda as they are cherry-picked to show the product in the most positive light. They exist only to suggest to you what you should think so that the advertiser can try to guide your thoughts during the important first impression. They help you only to understand what the advertiser wants you to think and you have to compare that to a larger body of user reviews to see if those statements ring true or if they exist as empty hype. Since you shouldn't be reading them as truth anyway, maybe it doesn't really matter who said the quotes.
