Shortcuts not enabled?

So, super excited for this update, currently 0.17.x selected. But. I cannot seem to have all the delicious shortcuts down in the "Alt mode" tray. I can click on the dots to expand the shortcuts list and they all seem to be there, but I can only enable/disable the alt mode. All the others hare permanently disabled?

Might just be an option somewhere that I have overlooked xD Any help would be much appreciated : D

If It helps, I am playing KatherineOfSky's latest series seed. The 0.17 update series : ] and she has all those shortcuts from the get go.

You're not alone -- I have the same issue: only the Alt Mode shortcut can be enabled/disabled. I found your post while looking for a solution. Hopefully some kind soul will enlighten us shortly.

I heard that loading a game [separate to your main save] and running the console command to unlock and research all tech should allow those shortcuts to be used. Oooor, research bots in your main save. I can't even open the console now xD

Ok, I found out how to do that right after that comment xD
hit the "~" key to open console in a separate save. Then paste this

/c game.player.force.research_all_technologies()

and hit enter. You might need to do that twice because it asks if you are sure, as it will disable achievements.... hence why you should do this in a separate save.

Then when you go back to your main save the shortcuts will be there :D

Version 0.17.2 was just released with a change to address this:

Added /unlock-shortcut-bar console command to unlock all shortcuts at once. This command does not disable achievements.

I tried this and it fixed my issue.
