Automated drone assembly?
Is there a way of automating the creation of robots based on how many are in the logistic network and stop when the desire point is reach?

Click on the roboport and it will have options to report the number of available or total logistics and construction bots on specific signals. Click the inserter and set it to be enabled if the available number of bots is < the desired number.

Remember that the port has a slot limit and bots don’t depart automatically, if they have no reason to do so. You should feed a port that is near an item source that is used by bots regularly, so that the bots depart and clear the port you are feeding.

Otherwise it might soft-stuck below the set threshold.

Perhaps, but so what? If the bots are not being deployed then you have enough bots for all jobs, so adding more bots to distant roboports won't change anything - if 100 bots are needed then 100 bots will be deployed regardless of whether there are 1000 bots available or 100000000000.

Adding more roboports to support more idle bots doesn't do anything if you only have 100 jobs.
