Factorio Base Planning Tool

What tools do you guys use to plan a base? For example if i would want a 1000 science per minute..How many blue belts of iron plates would i need for that?
And how many belts of copper plates, steel etc

Thank you Goofy, it is exactly what i was looking for. I have completed all the achievements so its ok :) I also completed all the achievements in the modded version lol

I built spreadsheets for each science pack using the info on the wiki to calculate input to output ratios for each pack and its sub components, on down to the lowest base material.

I would second this. It works very well for figuring oil cracking ratios.

I found helmod not useful for this, but the rest of it works very well.

I used to like https://doomeer.com/factorio and I still use it, but apparently the author doesn't play Factorio anymore and relies on fans to keep the recipes up to date. It's already missing some of the less important items like combinators and I guess it's only a matter of time until it won't be updated at all anymore :(

I just looked, and it looks right to me (20 copper plate per craft, 1 per second or 1.25 per second for assembling machine three).

Edit: That link is set for factorio 16.x recipe and is wrong for 17.x use this one

^^ Indeed. make sure you set up the calculator to use the correct game version. The option is under one of the settings tabs at the top.
