A problem with sulfur
I have a problem creating sulfur, it doesn't let me. I connect the water and natural gas pipes and it says "You can't mix fluids" I don't know why ... please help!

You have to connect the two liquids into a chemical plant with the Sulfur recipe in it. You can't mix fluids in the pipes directly like you're trying to do.
Yes, I select the sulfur recipe and when I am going to connect the pipe with the water on the one hand and on the other the natural gas tells me that "systems with different fluids cannot be connected"
You have to have separate pipes connecting to the "bottom" of each input on the chemical plant.

Pipes carrying different liquids (or being "reserved" by being connected t an input or output) can't be next to each others (it is fine for underground pipes since they don't connect to the sides).

You will have to rethink your setup in order to make sure to avoid that.
This is one of the various ways you can achieve that:

In this case I have a line of water and a line of petroleum gas running a few tiles away from the machines and they are connected by underground pipes, leaving a passage behind the machines for when you need to be walking around your base.

This is absolutely not the only way and there is one major downside in the fact that the 2 lines of pipes block your passage, so you will need to refine it until it reaches a state you can be happy with.
Thank you very much for your comments!! I made a mistake, connected the water pipe where natural gas and vice versa
Thank you!
also to add make sure you don't cross pipes. Like if one is petrol and the other water and you put them on the same line (Even underground ones). Otherwise they won't connect either and you'll get an error.

best to have them 1 in one line and another in the other line with underground pipes to avoid crossing them by accident.

There is no mixing if crossing underground.

there is if you try putting pipes going the same direction on the same line. That's why it's a good idea to put them each 1 lane above the other especially for advanced oil refineries. The general layout i see is 2 underground pipes connecting to each other for the 1st output (petrol light or heavy oil doesn't matter which one). Then the 2nd has 1 pip upwards and then the side underground pipes.
The last pipe is 2 pipes outwards then the side pipes making it easier to route and not get stuck as well as get inbetween should you ever need to create a shortcut of some kind.
That's not mixing, that's highjacking the underground pipe, you can do the same with belts, underground exits in the first "exit" of the right type (pipe or right colour of belt) that is in range in that direction.
