EDIT: Also; most modules come with a penalty and by the time you can mass produce them enemies should hardly be a problem and, IMO, the bob's mods are more for people who want a more difficult start in return for an easier endgame.
But that is their purpose. Attempting to build a megafactory with Bob's (or Bob's plus Angels) takes up a ridiculous amount of room. So as an alternative, you can use the tier 5 belts and just shove all the assemblers full of tier 8 raw production modules, surround them with beacons full of tier 8 raw speed modules, and achieve the output of a megafactory, while only taking up the physical space of a regular factory.
