cpy properties it new items

How can I copy the properties of an existing building to a new building or items?

This doesnt work for me at all. Im using some mods tough. Could that be the problem?
Or are my standard keybinds already a mess? I didnt changed anything....

Open the options menu and look in control settings. Look for copy entity settings and paste entity settings.

Yeah i did, and shift+right click to copy
shift+left click to paste is bind....but when i try wo select structures ingame nothing happens :O

Just checking to make sure you know what it's copying and pasting. You can't copy a building and then paste it onto an empty plot of land (although that's coming in the next patch). It copies and pastes the properties. e.g., you can create several assembly buildings, assign one to build gears, copy that building and paste it onto the other buildings. Now they're all creating gears.

Oh no, im wrong indeed on that one indeed. What i mean is.....i select a couple of buildings and copy paste to an empty spot! So the only way to copy paste is working with blueprints and then build it your own? Glad this will be implemented in the next patch :)

while you can't paste/place a building with settings, you can hit Q while mousing over a building to put one in your hand to plop down.

Copy/paste (and cut/paste) is probably what I'm looking forward to most in the next patch. There are so many times where I've built a factory area and then realize that I forgot to make room for something. I'd love to be able to just move it to the left six spaces. OR I want to expand my bus and would like to move all this stuff down about a screen's worth.
