Personal Logistic robots

So, i've gotten myself a personal robotport and some logistic robots.. but sometimes the just wont take the items out of my inventory and work for me, i have to rightclick them then

Well that's the source of your problem - logistic bots only work with actual roboports.

Logistics bots only work on your logistics network to move items between chests and yourself.
They only operate in the orage square which your personal logistics ports do not support.

Construction bots will build stuff for you and work with your personal roboport.
Personal bots are used before main network bots.

Oh, okey but which are the ones going around with you and take items out of your items? i've seen this in some videos.

you want construction bots. just be careful when traveling via train, car etc as they tend to hop out only to get left behind. i get in the habit of removing the roboport during travel.

[edit] they will 'limp' back to you but that may take a LONG time.

You nedd a personal roboport in your power armor to have bots work out of your inventory.

If you use mods, try "equipment hotkeys" ~ allows you to toggle on / off personal roboports etc. Also has a feature in the mods options to automatically disable them when you enter vehicles.

Do you think you could be any less precise?

If you have a portable roboport then construction bots from your inventory can take items from your inventory to build world objects, and deconstruct world objects and place the items back in your inventory. Construction bots launched from your inventory can never deliver items to any chests you might have placed.

Construction bots launched from roboports can take items from chests and place them in the world, and deconstruct world objects and place the items back in suitable chests. They can never take items from your inventory, or place items in your inventory.

Logistic bots can move items between chests, and to/from the player's inventory if the player is in range of the roboport and if the roboport has logistic robots. Logistic bots can never be launched from the player's inventory.
