No output signal by arithmetic combiner

I have a problem with the arithmetic combiner. I do not get an output signal. I want to calculate the average of 8 boxes and output them as variables 'D' to the grifer. But I do not get an output signal. Can someone give me a hint? Thank you.

Set the input to "Each" then divide by 8 to get "D" output(singal value). If the input value is zero (nothing in the boxes) there will be no output signal. Add a contant combinator with the item in the boxes at value "1" to get a steady D value from your arithmetic combi.

the arithmetic combinator won't put out a signal if you take 1 and divide by 8. anything < 8 it will output no signal.

Hello, thank you for the tip. Unfortunately, that did not work, as you can see in the screenshot, there are iron ore in the boxes, a signal from the constant calculator is also available, but I get no output signal.

You are dividing the inputs by the signal called "six" (equivalent to dividing by iron or "green"), which is set to zero.

You need to enter an actual constant instead.
