I thought it hit the Nail on the Foot....
Were they playing with bob's and angels mods maybe with seablock as well?
The list has obviously been stretched or their entries thrown in whatever order however all the games I have played on the list were enjoyable. Some of them like Evil Genius were very simple to play (speed hack that game or it will take ages) and didn't have a huge amount of depth when it came to management. Getting just a top 10 list is hard enough even with a large collection of games but apart from maybe choosing a different Tropico due to some of the bad reviews No.5 got to highlight this doesn't seem too bad of a list. Consider it more of it is a good game for these reasons so people may want to try it rather than an actual ranking system.
I am surprised there isn't a Rome building game or a Sim City game in the list as well.
It's not just reviews - Tropico 5 has some pretty glaring flaws that are objectively bad. For example, persistent islands screw new players who learn as they go along because they are stuck with their mistakes until they build up enough cash to bulldoze the entire island (or restart the campaign) while also making the game trivially easy for anyone with advance knowledge of mission objectives because you can stall virtually forever while preparing for the next era.
Huh... A list that actually aknowledges games older than 10 years.
I've played most of the games on that list, and they're pretty much the best ones. Wonder why they picked Zeus over Pharaoh though?

OMG, YES! I love that game! :D
its when that bias leaks into important world changing news like politics and such that affect your journalistic image.
like if they started slamming EA or Ubi over something very minor, they'd be seen as a news outlet that panders to the masses for more page views to make ad revenue however they can.
I always prefered Zeus over Pharoah myself, though Zeus is inferior when it comes to features and the game is limited to a much closer view of the game.
I just kind of prefered how the game handled mechanics compared to Pharoah.
I just preferred Ancient Egypt over Greece. *Shrugs*
Cities Skylines is in there though.
