Almost no balancers are lane balancers because on any sort of larger scale you have trains which don't have lanes and thus automatically balance, and your output is balanced by lane switching half way down the line or having the same row on the right and left side. Adding lane balancing to your balancer adds a lot of complexity which is usually completely unnessesary.
I think the biggest lane balanced balancer I've ever built is a 2 belt one.
I like to balance my main bus. Unneccesary, yes, but it looks much better lane balanced.
I admit to building only 1-belt lane balancers -- I lane-balance every belt before feeding them into a belt balancer :)
