2 lines to 1.
Anyone have a picture of the most effective way to take two lines (I have 80 furances 40 each row) seperated by a distance, I have them meet up towards the bus, but I want that throughput put on one line as much as it's possible. I've tested several different methods but I am unsure mathmatically what the best way to take TWO lines and shove them into one is.

Not hard to do. Just T-junction into the line you want to split it into. This will always result in any double line being forced into a single line. All you really have to worry about is if it goes on one side or the other. If your approach is wrong for the side you want, use an underground belt and loop around to the correct side.
I'm not sure what a T junction is, I might just need to youtube it for clarity.

It's exactly what it sounds like: the line you're pouring resources into runs 90 degrees to the line you're sending resources in from. It forms a shape like the capital letter T, hence the term T junction. As long as your inbound line is not a straight line into your receiving line, it will naturally form a T junction and only fill one side of the line as a result.

what version are you playing? 0.16.17 and later have input/output priority for splitters.

Can't you just use a splitter with two lines in and one line out?

i think they want a 2 to 2 with a bias.

The new splitter options a few patches ago do this by just clicking on them and configuring them.

If you feed a splitter with 1 or more belts and have each of the outputs feed onto different sides of a belt it will attempt to fill both sides of the belt. This is known as lane balancing.
