How do I make my construction robot stop doing suicide runs
My robots try to repair the walls while the bugs attack, so they all just go into an infinite loop of death. How can I fix this?

Well, biter attacks are usually in short waves. If you build the roboports back far enough, they likely won't get to the battle until well after the wave is over.

Otherwise, no, can't delay a bot from doing its job.

Put enough defense for all the biters to be dead before your robots can reach the place?
Or move your wall outside the logistic network and manually place a port near it after an attack.

Walls as in stone wall?
If they're pretty far away from the turrets, then the biters will attack them causing your bots to repair them and it leaves your bots wide open for an attack.
Move your wall closer to your turrets so they act as tanks and your bots can safely repair them.

I don't use stone walls unless it's a death world or the biters are abnormally aggressive.
Turret walls are usually enough for any biter wave.

As long as you are not using landmines the bot losses should be small, and are simply the cost of doing business - just include a couple of construction robots along with the repair packs in your supply shipments.

If you want to go crazy, there are various ways of detecting attacks, which could be used to delay bot activation until after the attack (e.g. wait until gun turrets inserters move, then wait 10s after they stop, turn on roboport, wait 15s, turn off roboport).

if you got robots repairing stuff you should have mass laser turret production up. Personnaly i like 3 rows or turrets and 2 rows of wall. Does not matter how many biters there is they are not getting through

I guess the only real way is to kill the biters faster, so they're not around when your bots show up. You can't tell the bots to only show up once it's safe.

Is your robot network shaped incorrectly or is seperated incorrectly. Robots take a straight line to thier targets so if your robots travel past the turret line they will not survive.
Also if the robot tower is really close to where damage is taken, the robots will arrive before your turrets have cleaned up the baddies, this can be helpped by puting repair packs in a storage chest instead of roboport, so it will take some time to grab.

Won't the robots store their repair packs in the roboport when they fly back?

You know, im not actually sure. Ever since infinite research my turrets kill before damage is done so i dont need repair

I asked myself this question but to be honest. I stopped thinking about it since I have a single Robot Faxtory and 3 chests. They are always full and my entire game has 35k robots active / passive in Robot ports. Who cares if 5k of them die if you have 7.5k backup??

Edit: And by increasing laser turret damage you can avoid biter damage at all.

through circut network stuff you could setup at most a delay but ideally you'll wan the wall closer to your turrets, as well as the roboport further away from the wall.

an ideal turret setup sees your biters not ever reaching the wall for a measurable amount of time. if you can count the seconds by eye, your setup is not strong enough.
I build my bases as mostly rectangles so bots can't leave the walled area, unless they're chopping trees.

Don't have walls to repair in the first place.

I used to wall off my entire base... now I just use a wall of turrets (either laser or bullet), with spacing so the biters don't get through. So much easier.

so there is no solution? because i read a lot of post with unusefull/spam text here, but not really an answer ^^

and there isn't a solution that i can stop bots to repair my car or the train while driving too? because is was really annoying to rebuild the bots all the time after i drove around ^^

Bots aren't too expensive to make and you can keep a stockpile somewhere and have any dead bots replaced no problem.
For your 'bots repairing you car while driving' bit, I had the same problem and just took the roboports off my power armor.
You can stick your bots in your logistics trash slot and they won't hop out and get destroyed.
Just make sure you take them out of the trash before you get back to your base.
