Green circuits and all that stuff will go to the trash.
Buildings like assemblers or inserters have to be dragged over manually.
There might be a mod to fix it somewhere.
You can tell it to never have iron plates in your inventory or set limits on how many belts you want.
That might be a better idea. So far I set up the logistic network to supply some basic materials to be able to craft a few things on the fly while I am building.
Maybe it's a better idea to make a blueprint for each of the basic items like belts and electric poles and put them locked into the toolbelt. Building only with bots might be easiert then.
However, one problem is that you can only lock the toolbelt slots to "any blueprint", not to a "specific blueprint". The slots don't distinguish between different blueprints, so it can be a chore to keep their order fixed. Be sure to press Q to release the previous blueprint before selecting the next one, or they'll end up shuffled in no time at all!
I really hope that the new toolbelt mechanics proposed in FFF 191[www.factorio.com] will be implemented in 0.17, then we would be able to "pick up ghosts" from the toolbelt. That and rumors of an upgrade planner are my most anticipated changes for 0.17 :)
