I want strange... (map save request)

Hello.

A lot of times i hear about game performance with mega-bases (tips about robots instead conveyors e.t.c.), but with 500+ hours, i have no one. (no one own megabase, no one slooowmo)

I have old AMD CPU, and DDR3 1600mhz RAM, and no one time with FPS lower than 56. (w/o mods)

And now i tried to google really huge 0.17 maps w/o mods, mega-base or something, but no one that i found, can't lower my FPS.

And i want strange...
Please link to me huge laggy map for 0.17 without mods.
I want to see really MEGA-base and slowmo factorio (;

If someone interesting in my PC stats:
Phenom II 1090T
24GB Ram DDR3 1600mhz
GTX 1060 3GB
Windows 7
All graphics maxed.

That is all but an "old crappy" setup ... even when it comes to todays standards.

I believe KatherineOfSky has some mega-base savegames available, from hosting/organising them mass MP games, but since I don't have discord you'll have to find them yourself and or someone else may link them.

Still I don't think one of them games will bring your system to its knees.


^^^ would love to see one of them massive games too but I'm not willing to create a social media account (here nor there) to get access to them.

I had a Phenom 2 T1100 BE OC to 4.4Ghz and I noticed performance spikes and some slow mo in my savegame back then. This was actually a really strong CPU even compared to the new models. Now I am running a Ryzen 7 2700xwith 3.6Ghz stock and the same save file doesn't cause the CPU to go to 30%

But this also always depend on the way the base is build. Have everything in a tight spot causes more spikes.

I read a lot of posts about core i7 and freezes with factorio mega bases. (I most situations with mods, but anyway)
Internet writes bad comparison my pheniom II X6 even with some core i5...
It's slightly fears me about expanding base.

Thanks, i found relative MEGA base (like X16 of my "mega").
Fortunately it's give me 45-60 FPS. I have space to build w/o freezes...

P.S.: Now i have 3 more circuit accumulation achivements. :/

Tried that FuzzyPants savegame?

I tried a couple so far (not all and some I will need to check out in a previous version) and that one slowed my fps noticably down.
edit: Going to try that on my other (faster and more ram) computer as soon as I have my new HDD I ordered.
