Storage building mod?
Is there another storage containers in this game or just the chest? Or a mod like a warehouse/storage container mod.

You’re not really supposed to store massive amounts of material. The idea is keep your consumption as close to your production as possible, and keep everything on belts.

Later on train wagons become an option, but they’re more for moving items long distance very quickly, not storing things.

Oh, you can certainly store as much as you want to! There is a mod called Factorissimo which allows you to construct a building with a small footprint, that you can then enter.

Inside, it is much larger than outside. Think of the tent in Harry Potter and you got it!

I don't use that mod, and I simply store things in an array of steel chests, each feeding the next. When I get bots, I have everything moved to a central storage of yellow chests and never worry about it again.

There are plenty of storage mods, either stand alone or part of bigger mods. Open the in-game mod portal and use the search feature.

Things like Angels Silos or Warehouses can be used without having to use all of the Angels Mods.

Which is plagiarized from the Tardis.

There is a mod named the Warehousing mod. It is an amazing mod that you can pair with stack increasing mods to allow for optimal storage capacity. For me personally, I think the vanilla game lacks the mass storage structures this mod allows you to have. It can be a little overpowered. However, each warehouse is quite expensive. It also takes up quite a bit of space. Hope this helps.

You just quoted a link to a category so we don't have a clue of what mod specifically you are talking about in the first place.
Do you use the default version of the game or did you opt-in to 0.17.x?
if you are using the default version make sure you go to the download tab of the mod you want to use and pick a version that is for 0.16 instead of 0.17.

if you look at the game's name in your library and it doesn't have [0.17.x] at the end or something like that it means you have the default version which is 0.16.51 (the latest version of the "stable" branch as 0.17 is still in development so it is an opt-in "experimental" branch), so when downloading and installing a mod you will need to make sure to pick a version that is designed for the version of the game you are using (the download button at the top is always for the latest version of the mod, which is nearly always going to be for 0.17 unless the mod was abandonned so you have to go through the "downloads" tab of the mod to pick an earlier version for 0.16).

That's exactly what I just said, you have installed mods that are for factorio 0.17.

If you click on the "mod" called "base" (it's the data for the base game but it is treated as a mod anyway) it will tell you that its version is 0.16.51 and as you can see in the screenshot the mods in red require a "base" that is 0.17.

If you don't want to download the right version of those mods, you can also opt-in in 0.17.x.
For that, close the game, right click on the game in your steam library, click on properties, go to the "betas" tab in the properties window that opened, select "0.17.x" in the drop-down (it is the auto-updating version for 0.17 so it keeps your game up to date).
