Later on you'll just have a massive number of storage chest and you'll just put your unwated items in your "trash" slot, robots will take them and put them somewhere so that if one day you need it you'll be able to get it.
In 0.17 the toolbelt is no longer an inventory, if you did opt-in you will want to click with the midle mouse button to empty the filter on the toolbelt.
Thanks again.
When I turned off all my mods, then play I used the middle mouse button and pressed Q to permanently stay item there. Middle mouse button is to take shadow off too.
I just found that out without asking anyone else.
Not arguing here.
just one question, when is this version 0.17 stable?
In 0.16, the toolbar was its own inventory. So, yes, you could lock a spot to be only belts for example but the 100 belts that would be in that spot were their own stack, separate from the inventory. If you have 5 stacks in inventory and 1 stack in your tool belt, you have 600 belts.
In 0.17, that changed. The toolbar only LINKS to the inventory. So, in the above example, you'd have ZERO belts in the toolbar, and 500 in inventory. The link in your toolbar would should 500, the total quantity you have available.
To adjust for the loss of inventory space, the devs increased the size of your main inventory. I really like the way it is handled in 0.17 and could never go back to the old toolbar.
0.17 is very close to being stable. No official announcement but the FFF have stated there are only a few bugs left before 0.17 is declared stable. Then, we get 0.18!
You should play 0.17. It has no game breaking bugs. In fact, I haven't had a single bug at all.
Honestly, you never really have too many "unwanted" goods. Depending on how quickly you build, you will probably end up with a dozen burner miners, maybe 20 burner inserters, and a pistol. Everything else is recyclable into another product or directly into science.
that is true.
