How do I copy my Blueprints to my other game?
I have two Factorio games going. One is a LAN multi-player, and the other is a single player. I'm using the same character name for both.

I have created some blueprints in one game that I want to use in the other. How do I use the same blueprints in both games?

Thanks!

In vanilla, you can't until 0.15. Otherwise, there are several mods that will allow you to do what you want. (Blueprint String is one)

Thank you KatherineOfSky. Would the Blueprint String mod disable Achievements? I've watched some of your videos. They were very helpful. :D

Thanks so much!

Yes, use of any mods disables achievements.

What I normally do is just rebuild my blueprints in each world. (I will be sooooo happy when blueprint sharing between saves is added to the vanilla game!)

i'd like to be able to "edit" a blueprint without basically erasing it and making it anew.

At present, you can remove items from the blueprint by right-clicking on them. (Although you can't anything new in).

well if you have what you want to add in your inv you can go where no roboport reaches, place the ghost, add the things as ghosts, resave the bp and clear the ghost with a decontruction planner. Might seem unhandy, but editing bp directly from the preview looks harder for me especialy for bigger ones

could you save the string in word and then C/P it into the new game?

This thread is obsolete by now. You can just transfer all your blueprints, they're stored in a seperate file.

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\blueprint-storage.dat

But yes, if you want to save a single blueprint you can do that in basically any way there is to store a piece of text.
