<Solved>Construction Robots Disappear
I have recently ordered my 30k Construction robots to refloor the entirety of my factory (probably should have started doing that like 400hrs ago). The problem i'm facing right now is that all of my construction robots have vanished. The Logistic Network Gui (Press 'L' by default, you're welcome) Says that I still have the 30k robots in the network, and plenty of concrete to do the job, but when I roam around the construction areas, I see no progress being made and absolutly no construction robots. I can still see random logistics robots on their usual paths, and the construction bots from my personal port still work. Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution?

TL:DR; I have a large construction order for my const. robots but they've dissappeared. Plz halp

Edit:
Solved. My robots are back today and I have no idea why. Now my only problem is the framerate with all these robots flying in one area.

If you place a build order right next to the chest and put in some robots in that roboport do they still not build it?

He didn't mention used which one, personal roboport or the actual building roboport?

Yes he did. He said he had no problems with his personal robots.

They probably ran out of juice and are now --- verry verrry slowly --- finding their way to a recharge point.

They're the main ones from the roboport structures. They have ample supply of materials nearby and the construction area is in range of the roboports

Electric charge does not seem to be the issue, there are plenty of roboports in the vicinity of the project and on the route to the project to keep them charged.

This isnt so much of an issue of "My robots arent where they should be", its an issue of "My robots seem to be failing to load into the game.

Personal robots won't show up as part of the logistics network. If they're lost, flying around somewhere, you'll have no way to check up on them and find them.

And now that I think about it, personal bots don't use roboports to recharge. They're supposed to return to you.

It still seems likely to me that you send them out to work, and then quickly ran off, too far away for them to reach you on a single charge. They're trying to return to YOU personally, and ran out of juice before they could find you. Somewhere they should be out there, but they won't show up on the map, and they won't show up in the robot network.

I think you have just disconnected the robots from their task. A narrow gap of discontinuity may not be easily seen on the map.

Like I said, test it by putting in some robots in the same roboport that covers the concrete supply chests and then lay some concrete orders next to it.

Why are you talking about personal robots? His personal robots is not what the issue is about.

I'll check for a disconnect in the line

The disconnect you're gonna be looking for is not in the green construction area, it will be in the orange logistic. If the logistic isn't connected all the way over in a direct line from point A (concrete supply) to point B (construction order area) then the bots won't be able to complete the task. Same can be said for the recharge path, there needs to be a direct line of stations along the "flight path" between the points. This is the one thing I don't like about Conbots, they go directly from point A to point B, instead of staying inside the network areas provided by the Ports.

I had this problem (sort of) and what I had done is put my Roboport down next to a spare inserter and it had moved all my robots onto a transport belt.

30,000 conbots? That's impressive. What's the power consumption with all them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flying around?

I bet they just weren't flying about. I apparently haven't done REALLY large construction orders for a while, and I noticed bot behavior is odd when there are a ton of construction orders. Even if you have thousands of bots, it seems to take a while for the jobs you got to churn through and be assigned to robots to partake. Even if I have all the materials handy, I can stare at 700/1000 of my construction bots that are idle.

Yeah last i read there is a 600 build que limit. Its confusing to see though as its not a robot limit.
