well you can, but you will not be able to make that big of a base before it will begin slowing down.

I can't tell if your specs will run it well, but I know that Factorio is a very CPU-heavy game, whereas all of the games you listed (except for MAYBE mount and blade) are very GPU (graphics) heavy~ I'd say buy it anyways =P Eventually, after a few hundred hours you might begin losing some FPS/UPS but eh, if you run the tutorial fine you're probably good

Edit: Sorry, didn't see Manno's response xD, my bad
And Manno, how many hours do you consider a "big base" in that single save?

Lawlzer.

Og remember my base?
I can run it at 30UPS on my laptop. That has a 2.16Ghz CPU. So I think he will be fine for a decent size base.

try running the free demo first.
Mr_Crazy_Manno Oct 18, 2017 @ 8:50am
The demo wont say much, yes it will asy if you can run the game. But it will not show when you will hit the limit of your computer. Since it does not have so much going on in the campaign that it comes with.

So answer is.
Yes you can run it, but you will be limited by your CPU, for your base size, you can make a decent sized base, but not really the size most have, without it running slow.

didn't see they already played the demo.

4GB of ram will limit factory size as well. development of 32bit version has stopped. so just be aware of that.

4gb of RAM is not the limiting factori here, it will be the CPU. Them RAM speed.
Trust me, i play this on my laptop, which has close specs to his. Since my desktop is in for repair.

/c game.speed=0.7 or lower.

Dont just dont.
The game will run as fast as it can, what you are doing by using that command, is lowering the game speed yourself, just let the game run slower when it cant keep up anymore, same result, except you wont have to play at low game speed when your PC cna run faster in early game.
