What do I need to research in the Lab to unlock underground belts?

It's the same tech that gave you the belts. You should have yellow belts, yellow underground belts, and yellow splitters.

I believe it's Logistics 1. You can search the research screen for "underground", and it will give you the relevant tech.

@Name Lips -- conveyors are unlocked at spawn, but the undergrounds and splitters must be researched.

thanks guys I had jsut figured it out. Didn't realize you could look at what each thing unlocks
