downloaded it and didnt play it for months, because i dont understand what it is.
the .rar was rotting on my harddrive. then i played it... hyped it... bought it.
The point was that i get 4 mates to play and buy factorio (yeah in that order), also this ppl force their friend to buy the game and so on.
Rip tekkit lite
Pirating got one major advantage homever :
It make it possible to get games that is no longer avalable at stores and is impossible to get otherwise.
Anyway...trying a game before buying is good on paper, but most will end up never paying for it at the end because.....they aleardy have the game so wy bother?
If you can get over that temptation, id say it's fine. If not....your just a dirty pirate really.
I personally miss the time where demos where common.
In my opinion ppl should buy the game if they play longer than a few hours. Steam for example allows 2h, which is in my opinion not enough for larger games to find out if they are fun.
Also a lot of indie games have money problems, while AAA games come out with budgets way too big. There was this FFF about a Ubisoft DLC getting money support from the European Union.
