A way to insert circuit signal into logistic network?
As title says. Is there a way to easily send a signal (say signal A) across the whole logistic network?

Thanks again

Nope. The logistic network is only for logistic network contents.

Thanks. I wish this wasn't the case.

The best you could do would be to use an item that the network (or you) will never request, and have the circuit network load and unload said item between a normal chest and a passive provider chest.
Not only is it not exactly great, it also means that there is a delay (because the inserter will have to do it 1 at a time to be sure to be precise), and you will have to have an other set of those for transmitting the "response" if you need one too.

To be fair, it feels easier to just put a "main line" of red (and/or green) cables on your main power line.

By the way, the reason why you can only read from the logistic network and never write is because it tries to track each item/stack individually, to know where to send robots, so it needs to be able to actually take the items that are listed, or it could cause unnecessary confusion when people make a mistake and set an item count to a constant for example.

At the moment I'm building a smart smelter and I want to condense it and thought about it.

Elaborate, please?

The easy version is that I want iron/steel/copper/bricks to be made when they are under a certain thread hold all at the same smelter.

The same, single smelter?
How do you produce enough for your assemblies, and how do you not clog up the output belt with many different products?

Interesting. I'd love to see pics if you finish it! :D

It's not that interesting lol. The final Design is just a requester chest and one output. With beacons around it. The circuit network is the fun part. But yeah I'll share it here when done.

What I do if let's say I want circuit signal P to get into the logistics network I will find an item I don't usually care about that is easy to make and have it made and put into a logistics chest near the circuit network and have it stop when it gets to the value of the signal. If its a large value then I use an arithmetic to divide by 1000.... so in my case P = 784,000 and I want to know when U-238 reaches that number .... so I have power switches made and put into a red chest until they equal 784 (or equals P / 1000)... that way i can see the number from anywhere on the map and compare it to the U-238 number that is already in the logistics network because. (SIDENOTE: when those number reach then I have an amazing korvex set up that obliterates the normal uraniam into the good stuff).
