How to destroy / recycle / delete inventory items?

The title says it. Can I get rid of old stuff I have in my inventory?

When you get logistic bots, you can have them haul the junk away for you directly from your inventory.

The auto trash is great. you can set it up to haul off all the bits of ore, coal, raw wood, and rock and put them in a production line somewhere.

Stuff like furnaces, burner miners.... can be sent to a requester box to be destroyed if you desire.

Couldn't figure out how to get blueprints out of my inventory, so I followed Nailfoots advice and put a bunch of junk in a wooden chest then lobbed a couple grenades at it.

Blueprints should have a trash can icon when you right click them.

Or like I like to do, go to a part of the map you're not gonna use and designate that your dump, then just run around with the junk in your "hand" and hold down Z.
Makes it look really pretty after a while :D

One thing I've noticed is that empty blueprints don't have a tash icon.

You can BP anything to get around this. BP a single wooden chest, for example.

Yeah. But that's just annoying. Hoping it'll get fixed in the GUI update :)

Yeah. I've actually needed inventory space while out running power lines in the wild (due to tree removal usually) and need to BP a single power pole so I can delete that lone blank BP.

I do believe its a bug or at least an oversight that blank BPs lack a delete button.
