A way to hide the UI for screenshots?

Hello,

Is there way to hide the UI for screenshots? I'd like to take screenshots from all over my base, and then stitch them together into one huge high resolution image of my base, but I don't want each screen to have the equipped item bar, etc... I can't see a way to turn it off, and can't find any forum posts about it.

I don't know about how to do it for standard "print screen" function, but the Wiki has an alternative solution via console command:
https://wiki.factorio.com/Console#Large_Screenshots

However, it's a "/c" command, which means you'll have to reload after using it if you want to be able to get achievements in that game.

A year later, someone else finds this handy to know as well.
Not sure if it's an update since then, but for the record you can use this:

/screenshot [x resolution] [y resolution] [zoom]

It WILL NOT disable achievements.

A few years later, the "Large Screenshots" section has disappeared from the wiki... does the /screenshot command replace all of that functionality?

Doesn't seem to be a 100% replacement, but it covers the important parts. It lacks the "showgui" and "show_entity_info" options that old method had.

According to the changelog ( https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=Console&offset=&limit=250&action=history ), the "Large Screenshots" section was deleted when the /screenshot command gained the "x", "y", and "zoom" options, in April 2008 (it didn't have them before).

If you want to check the previous method, the last revision of the wiki page that includes the old "Large Screenshots" section is https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=Console&oldid=158536#Large_Screenshots

Thanks! I used /screenshot 16384 16384 and it took about 10 minutes to save a 511MB .png image :-)
