The chip type is called "Intel(R) HD Graphics (Core i5)" when I look under Properties. I think it's just a generic one.
yea i would say go for it
Nope. Factorio needs at least 512MB, maybe as low as 384MB, of video memory to run properly. You are going to have badly-distorted visuals assuming it even finishes starting up at all.
Should be ok for a small-med sized factory.
You'd have to install your game on a sort of 'ramdisk' to have it perform well in regards to memory, but the CPU limitations is always going to be there, especially on a low grade i5 laptop part (always consider laptop versions to be 50% performance of the full desktop versions, as their TDP is tuned way down to lower heat).
I also can see that cpu having no hyperthreading, so it's single threading performance can't be boosted, meaning you literally have 4 physical cores that's gimped down to half their overall performance (2.67Ghz seems like their 'max' output, a desktop version ranges up to 4Ghz basically).
And it being a laptop cpu on a laptop bios and board, you can't tweak said performance... Unless you could tune the bios of said computer if in the rare case it supports that.
Also what is your laptop's model name?
Oh turns out it's not even a quad core processor:
http://ark.intel.com/products/49653/Intel-Core-i5-560M-Processor-3M-Cache-2_66-GHz
# of Cores 2
# of Threads 4
Processor Base Frequency 2.66 GHz
Max Turbo Frequency 3.20 GHz
Cache 3 MB SmartCache
Bus Speed 2.5 GT/s DMI
TDP 35 W
It's a dual core processor.
Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) 8 GB
Memory Types DDR3 800/1066
Max # of Memory Channels 2
Max Memory Bandwidth 17.1 GB/s
Physical Address Extensions 36-bit
ECC Memory Supported ‡ No
So you are restricted to a crappy 800~1066mhz of DDR3 DIMMs... Comparing that to desktop DDR3 where the average ram module that is cheap to get, is at 1333~1600mhz.
DDR4 allows you to tune RAM speeds up to 3000~4000mhz btw, but these are more expensive.

You have a minimum-maximum GPU frequency of 500~766Mhz, that's about half of a RX 460 here... Searching for the graphical components on benchmark sites and can't find them exactly, it's way too old, as the oldest one is a 2011 mobile GPU, this one OP has is a 2010 CPU.
The model is a Dell Latitude E6410, thanks for your information though
with only 6GB of ram, lower processing power, if it does run you will run into UPS (updates per second) slow downs earlier in your factories growth than newer processors. some folks run the game at half speed on larger factories or on slower systems.
the game likes memory speed and single thread performance. it is multi threaded. 1 for simulation calculations, and 1 (or more) for graphics. more threads will prob be in the future of the game but the devs are optimizing the crap out of what they are using now. which is AWESOME!
i have toaster HD-3000 graphics and the game runs a solid 60FPS if i'm not near a lot of smoke (which you can turn off in settings). granted i have a 2500K running @ 4.3Ghz.
again, see if you can increase the shared memory for the graphics.
