Angel's mods - What are chrome and manganese for?

I've been looking around a sandbox game trying to find what these are used for, and the only thing i can find is that it can be mixed with other metals to produce more of another metal. But there are also recipes for making chrome plate and manganese plate, and i cannot find anything that uses that.

Am i somehow missing products that use manganese or chrome other than the metal mixtures, and what the hell are the plates for?

I think those are there as hooks for other mods that might want to use them, or things angel plans to use in the future but does not currently use.

Manganese and Chrome ingots are secondary products provided to make more steel plates looking at the Factorio Data page. Manganese and Chrome ores are both availiable when Nodule processing is researched because provides Nodule Sludge to make more Steel and Iron plates in general for new players. Correct me if I spoken wrong above plz.

Manganese Ore = 50 * Nodule sludge + Mineral Catalyst <- (Manganese ingots are combined with other stuff to make Steel,Titanium, Aluminum plates in one way)

Chrome Ore = 50 * Nodule sludge + Crystal Catalyst <- (Chrome ingots are combined with other stuff to make more Steel, Titanium, Iron in one way)

The "What's it used for" mod says manganese plates and chrome plates are not ingredients in any recipes.

No, those are byproduct ores to process more plates when molten with casting plant in Angel Mods

In general as in some of the main products processed came out are Steel, Iron, Titanium, Aluminium, and some other plates and of course both can smelted as plates too with induction plant. These two ores are not minable but chemically saturated ores with 50 Nodule sludges plus catalyst, to make these two ores.

Before making these ores to plate you need to also had researched Nodule processing, I think was called
