Pings in Factorio Multiplayer

I feel that this game needs pings. It would need pings that 1) highlight an area, and 2) ping just a simple dot. It would provide better commmunication and location throughtout the game. Thank you for your consideration and commments on how you feel about this.

I agree. Also, a tool to jot a note (either temporary notes or permamant) directly on the map.
