how to fix connection issue

hi there me and a friend have both bought this game but cant connect it keeps saying cannot connect to server any ideas how to solve this or why it does it

i have the same issue, some times i can join games some times not dunno how to solve this issue, when my friend hosts a normal game i cant join when he does a headless i can join

I can connect to anybody on the public servers but we cant join the same game and i cant join him/he cant join me
