does anyone else use speed up command

So
i dont have time to wait
so i use /c game.speed = 100 or 10 to speed up the research.. i dont consider is cheating myself as i just waited a long time in short

does anyone else use this command or ..everyone is too professional that they dont need it?

I don't use it myself.

IMO there is no such thing as cheating in single player.
Enjoy the game in whatever way you like! :)

Edit: Oh and I spawn large resource patches when I feel like it. MY game :)

I do think theres such a thing as cheating in single player, but yknow. Eh. It's singleplayer, To each their own.

But, That said, By artificially running time like that you're..kinda detracting from the game, in my view. You're effectively skipping the process of creating a factory capable of putting out 10x or 100x as many research packs and concurrently using them for research, by using the command.

Why play a game about building factories...and then not build a factory? O.o

Not judging, Just giving my two cents. Enjoy the game! That's what its for. ^-^

I just build a larger thing if the thing works too slowly.
Unlike tycoon games, there is never really downtime, you're either expanding or sitting there overwhelmed at how much you have to do next.

Just use mods like skip research which researches instantly and infinite ore patches mods.

Sadly you are skipping like half of the game there, so don't be surprised if you get bored very quickly.

Just get some friends for coop its more fun and also speeds up research naturally

I never find myself using this feature. There is always something that you could be doing while research is completing.
